WHAT YOU ARE DOING WRONG IN A RELATIONSHIP

About Wasting Your Time In A Relationship... What Are You Doing Wrong?

Before you start thinking that going to a man's house to cook and wash for him will make him wanna marry you also ask yourself these questions:

- Does He Really Care About Cooked Food?
A lot of guys eat out every now and then and they are used to it, so filling his freezer with assorted soups and stew when he barely stays at home, cannot even use his unless you come around can be useless. Big FAIL to your plans hun.

- Does He Do His Laundry?
You just came around and saw his wash basket filled with unwashed clothes and you felt ahaa let me help him wash, he will definitely appreciate me doing his laundry and voila, everything is washed out clean and ironed too... Huh?? Have you asked yourself if he has been using the dry cleaners? That won't mean a thing to him sweetie... He doesn't wash so won't know what it feels like. Another FAIL!

- Movies. Really?
You bought some movies that you want both of you to see together?
Because he barely stays at home whenever he sits just for a few minutes he will think its another time to just relax, watch it he's already dozing off on you... Sorry babes... Triple FAILURE!

- He Hangs Out A Lot.
Ok from all indication he's not the home type and you told him "sweetie i know you're always bored so I'm coming to keep you company" oh no please....... Don't....... The boredom will possess you... He's not even at home!

- Wait A Minute.
Do you even know this guy? I don't think so. Now you see why babes will end up with lines like "after everything i did for him, he left me for someone else" i am so SORRY love. Talk about being somebody's type? You guys won't go together...at all.

- What You Should Do?
I think you know that already, take your time and understand him first before you head to his house. Communication is KEY. When you talk to him, when you relate with him, feel his vibes, learn him, constantly communicating will definitely make him more open. Be fun to be with, don't be rigid, let it flow and who he is will be made open to you. All you need to know including his likes and dislikes, what he does for fun and what bores him will be clearer to you. And when you find out, you will know whether to take off or hang in there.

7 WAYS TO WAKE UP BEAUTIFUL

There are lots of things that can make you wake up looking all different (not on the positive side really.) You might notice you have an oily face, breakouts, and your hair all looking rough.

Here are 7 ways that can help you look all beautiful in the morning when you wake up.

1.  No matter how tired you are, make sure you clean/wash off your make-up. Before you start dozing off you can do this earlier. A quick fix is face wipes

2.  Moisturize your face. Apply a good night cream is always a great option to keep your face moisturized and smooth in the morning.

3.  Don’t forget your hair needs a tender loving care too. Using your night hair routine, moisturize your hair and cover with your satin bonnet. This helps to keep your hair safe, intact and less prone to breakage.

4.  Change your pillow to Satin/Silk pillowcases. This will help your hair and face to stay moisturized.

5.  Hydrate your lips. Using a lip balm moisturizes your lips, leaves them soft and keeps from drying up.

6.  Apply Aloe Vera gel on your face. This gives you a fresher and more radiant skin in the morning. This works for me all the time.

7.  Sleep on your back. The weight that goes on a particular side of your face can cause wrinkles and if it continues then you'll be getting ready to get loads of anti-wrinkle creams to work with. You might not notice that immediately though.

Trying To Shed Off That Fat? Here Are Some Things You Need To Know and Do.

photo: slideshare.net

The struggle for weight loss is real. A lot of routines are tried out, some failed while some worked, some are failing, starting over and refusing to give up. While we read/hear every other day that food is 80% while exercise is 20% a lot of people still get confused. Before you know what is happening you are doing one and forgetting the other. That is when you hear people say “I’ve tried everything and nothing is working for me :(”

The whole truth is, this whole thing is not magic. Eating right and doing things you like and maintaining your regular exercise routine is key. It takes time and commitment. Along the line you might feel the urge to take a break one day, then two days, oh maybe I can start all over next week or maybe I should just wait till next month so I can have a fixed time… you’ll find yourself on the side again. So if you’re going to start again, here are things you should know.

Forget About Diets...
Many think that to diet you simply fill your cart with veggies and eat as little as
possible. In the long term, most diets fail and leave you with nothing but unwanted weight and a heap of disappointment. If you’ve been eating a certain way your entire life, the worst thing you can do is completely switch up your dietary routine. It will confuse your body, make it hard to stay dedicated, and worst of all – you’ll probably be miserable.

Your Liquid Intake Is Important...
Water! Drink! If you can't drink then make your flavored water. Adding your favorite fruits into a jar of about 2 liters and pour water then drink. You can try finishing that by the end of the day. It’s a fun way of taking it more liquid. Play around with it. Make things simple.

Join A Group...
You just can't do this alone without motivations from other people. Join people who want to achieve the same goal as you. It helps you to be up and doing. When you read/hear someone say “omg I just dropped some pounds and I’m feeling amazing” you’ll know it’s about time to tell people about yours too :)

Breakfast is a BIG...
We hear and read about it every day yet some people will skip breakfast in the name of not wanting to be fat. You don’t fast to lose weight, you eat to lose weight. You just fasted for hours and your body is empty believe it or not.

Make Good Use of Your Internet...
If you can't be browsing (if you don’t have time) for more info sure you can download a fitness App from the Play Store. There are loads of them that can help achieve your goal. I just got one “Pumpup” from the Play Store and it’s pretty amazing. I love it because I get all I need to keep going, from motivations, to eating right and exercises.

Make Things Simple…
This is what I’ve learnt overtime. When you take things overboard it looks like work and it appears to be difficult for you as the days go by. Make it simple, just play around it, feel free and be happy for yourself. Don’t do anything when you are in a bad mood, you’d be surprised how far you’ll go and when you achieve that body, it will be effortless and you might wonder how got through it.

BANACADO (Banana and Avocado) MY MORNING TREAT

Fruits are very important to the human body and the best time to take them is before food and that the very best time to have them should be in the mornings. When it comes to food I love varieties. Just the same way anyone can wake up and choose to take oats, tea or any light food, I can wake up and just go on fruits (though they have not been my go-tos but then I made up my mind to start doing that.) So i tried this out and it gave me a boost for the day. I noticed I was just happy and maybe it was the banana :D You can refrigerate it before you slice because the color might change if you slice and refrigerate. It is just a good treat for the morning and i bet you might wanna try it out.

AVOCADO oh how I love thee. This fruit has been my go-to because i can use it for almost everything except making Nigerian soups and who knows...nah i don't mean that no way! If you can have this two fruits (banana and avocado) in the morning then you might be in a better position to help me explain the feeling. It is so filling, so refreshing, so deliciously sweet, so amazing, so healthy and you can go on and on. Having the highest content of any fruit, it also contains Vitamin E, C, K, B and folic acids.

BANANAS are good for bowel health, great source of energy, high in Potassium and antioxidants, rich in Iron and improves brain power.

I do cut all in cubes and just eat away but you can also blend and add anything you want like yoghurt or milk but before i get to that level i must have finished it lol

I hope you enjoy having this in the morning :)

Did i mention that this mix works for my deep conditioning too? i'm still grooming my hair cos i big-chopped and we eat everything together so we can grow healthier. Ok that will come up in a different post.

Quick FRESH TOMATOES SAUCE

Okay let me confess, I get used to things easily especially when it comes to foods and that explains why i like trying out new things. Sincerely I'm tired of our normal stew (with the tin tomatoes and all) to that effect  I’ve been enjoying my veggie sauces. So here's something I just tried (you must have tried something like that too because its really simple and fast) and if you're still looking for something light and sweet (and you've not tried this you should) to eat your rice then this is it. I'm sorry I couldn't take a picture I just didn’t have the time as I was so much in a hurry to eat :)

So here are things you'll need:

*  Fresh Tomatoes
*  Onions
*  Fresh pepper
*  Seasoning
*  Good vegetable oil/Coconut/Olive
*  Mushrooms
*  Farrow's Giant Marrowfat Peas
*  Chicken (I decided to use that to get the taste I want  and that might be because I'm used to Turkey so if I'd used it, it won't be different) that's for me you can choose what you want :)

Preparation...
So I just sliced the tomatoes, pepper and onions (I didn't blend)
Heat my oil and add the onions, then tomatoes (please don't stir)
It was almost dried but fresh still
I added my seasoning and salt to taste.
Allowed it to simmer and then stirred gently.
I added my chicken and stock. (Allowed to simmer for few mins too)
I added my mushrooms
Then the peas.
Stir and bring it down.

Oh you'll love this. I just tried it out cos I am really not a fan of Tin Tomatoes. If I'm to use, I just use one or two depending on the quantity. So I wanted something different that will still contain my veggies. You can serve this with baked beans if you like.

And the food is ready. “Chei! I no fit snap” :D. I was so hungry and the food finished patapata. You can snap yours or let’s say I will send the pic the next time I make this sauce.

FLAVORED WATER (aka DETOX WATER) AND MY SUGAR ADDICTION

photo credit: www.theredheadriter.com

Talk about loving sugary things i have an addiction. Maybe because of my work then i barely have time to "really eat" and just maybe because i hate eating out. My sin... Mirinda! This drink taking chilled can actually be the answer to my headache lol. Yea we all know addiction is not only to drugs, for me its the same thing with the urge to always take a bottle of chilled mirinda with 2 chicken/meat pies everyday and you just can't stop yourself. I REALLY LOVE THOSE. Oh that was my addiction :D bad i know :(

But thanks to flavored water. Those cravings are "almost" gone except for cheat days lol.

1 lemon
1 ginger
1 cucumber
10 pieces of mint leave (i really don't get those so i just use "nchuanwu" aka scent leave) you can any of you favorite fruit just to make it more fun for you.

So i cut, slice and pour everything into a jar and add 2litrs of water and allow it to infuse over night. Then i start with drinking it in the morning and I will make sure i finish everything before the day runs out. One thing i knew was that it actually reduced my cravings for that drink in particular and my sugar cravings drastically dropped. That affect amazing because it was like a burden was lifted off me and i felt so free and happy :) i also started making healthier choices and you don't want to hear the name my sister gave me lol that's a topic for another day.

So to someone who is stock with Fanta or Coke well you can actually say no to "addiction" of any kind, especially unhealthy foods. What's your addiction? You can fight it. Eat healthy. Drink healthy and stay fabulous. Remember, you crave what you eat more. Drink more sugary bottled drinks and you'll crave more for sugary things including fast foods. Eat more healthy stuffs like veggies and fruits and your sugar cravings will go down. I tried it and it worked. You can try it too.
